EV CHARGING STATION RELIABILITY WORKFORCE
EV CHARGER FIELD SERVICE TECHNICIANS JOBS-Expert Energy is searching for certified electricians.
JOB SUMMARY: This key role for skilled and motivated electricians is responsible for the on-site repair and maintenance of EV charging stations. The contractual requirements included but not limited to are on-site safety, site field reports, electrical system maintenance and repair and other duties to properly maintain and operate the EV charging stations. This independently working role with little or no supervision will be required to work under various outside conditions.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Maintain 98% Reliability Uptime
*Troubleshoot interoperability charging communication and operation issues on L2 and DC fast chargers (L3) EVSE
Charging System
*Ensure the charging system components and software are operating properly
*Test chargers, charging service functionality and EV adapters
* Test to ensure software has successful updates
Maintaining EV Charging Infarstructure Awareness
*This includes charger communication protocols *Staying updated with industry trends, NACS adoption and Plug & charge ISO 15118.
*Must work independently, meet deadlines and other duties as asigned.
*Willingness to travel to assign work location domestically.
Education and Experience
*You must have a high school diploma or equivalent
*Experience in EVSE
*Familiar with High Voltage systems
*Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
*Excellent verbal, presentatión, written and communication skills
* Must display exceptional interpersonal skills
*Mobile app and texting skills
Physical Job Requirements
*This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping.
* Repair parts for servicing EV charger do not require heavy lifting.
* The work performed requires strict attention to safety regulations
* Any workwear worn by EV charger field service technicians should adhere to the OSHA mandates for electrical safety.
